Day 1
Sunday 8th June or 27th July
London to Bayeux
Today we begin our journey, heading from busy England to a more quaint setting in country France. Bayeux is famous for its 11th century UNESCO listed tapestry depicting life in the middle ages. Measuring at almost 70 metres and 350 kilograms there is nothing else quite like it anywhere else in the world. The night is yours to have dinner in the beautiful surroundings of Bayeux, and why not enjoy a few French wines as well, as the hotel is literally in the old town.

Day 2
Monday 9th June or 28th July
Bayeux to Mont St Michel (via D-Day landing beaches and American Cemetery)
This morning we head to Arromanches, home of the D-Day landings and the 360-degree museum. We will spend a few hours here, allowing you to have discover Arromanches history and enjoy lunch before heading to the American cemetery, made famous in Steven Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan. Our final destination is the beautiful UNESCO listed Mont St Michel. After visiting the Mont we supply a traditional French Dinner.

Day 3

Mont St Michel to Bordeaux
Today we travel to Bordeaux, which is the heart of the French wine industry. We will spend the night in this beautiful UNESCO world heritage city. The night is yours, so make sure that you enjoy the amazing French cuisine one last time because tomorrow we are heading to Spain!

Bordeaux to San Sebastian
Sun, sand and surf is on the menu for the next 3 days in this Spanish party town. Mix that with adventure activities and free surf lessons and you have got 3 fantastic days in San Sebastian. We have extended our stay here so that you don't miss out on anything. Did you know that San Sebastian has the most Michelin Stars per capita of any city in the world! If food, adventure sports and Spanish parties are your thing then San Sebastian is a one-stop shop.

San Sebastian to Madrid (via Segovia)
Heading into the interior of Spain we visit Segovia's UNESCO world heritage roman aqueduct that was constructed around 50 AD, before heading onto Madrid. Landing in Madrid on a Saturday night gives us another chance to enjoy the Spanish party culture. If that is not your thing then Madrid is yours to explore. Madrid has a cosmopolitan lifestyle that offers everything you could imagine. Since our accommodation is right in the middle of it all you won't have to look far either.

Day 9

Madrid to Salamanca (via Avila)
It's an early stop today at the fortified city of Avila for lunch. After lunch it's a short drive to Salamanca, the 3rd oldest university town in Europe. This is truly a student town with students travelling from all around the world to study here. Our hotel tonight is in the old town, so its time to explore this ancient city. Both Avila and Salamanca are amazing cities, truly deserving their place on the UNESCO world heritage list.

Day 10

Salamanca to Santiago de Compostela
You simply won't believe our accommodation tonight. We are staying in a 17th Century monastery (still used in winter by the priests) right in the heart of Santiago a UNESCO world heritage city. The city is covered in beautiful old buildings, which are a welcome sight to thousands of pilgrims that make the long journey from their homes by foot. Santiago is renowned as being the seafood capital of Spain. So once again the night is yours for great wine and cheap tapas.

Santiago de Compostela to Porto
Today we will discover Portugal and you will discover that it is absolutely amazing. Porto, Portugal's second largest city, is totally unique and has to be seen to be believed. The old town buildings are covered in beautifully colour tiles, and is set on the opposite side of the river to the port warehouses. This UNESCO world heritage city is simply beautiful. Tonight our accommodation is absolutely central being found on the town square. So wander down to the river and enjoy dinner in one of the fantastic restaurants.

Friday 20th June or 8th August
Porto to Lisbon
The charming streets of Lisbon are best discovered by tram, that is until Friday and Saturday nights when the Bairro Alto district turns into a street party only accessible by foot. You won't find this kind of partying anywhere else! Lisbon however is more than just a party town. Many journeys to discover the modern world were first launched from Lisbon's harbour, as we will discover when we visit the 16th century Belem tower a UNESCO world heritage site.

Lisbon to Lagos
Its time to hit the beach again, and maybe see if you have improved on the surfboard as we are heading to Lagos. The slave trade history still lies under the surface, but has now been replaced by a fun summer party location. You will have a complete day to do what you please, and there is plenty of options. Will you hire a car and travel the coast, sit on the beach or get wet kite boarding, Lagos really has it all to choose from! With our accommodation situated in the old town its only 5 minutes to the beach, bars or restaurants.

Lagos to Sevilla
It's only a short drive to Sevilla. Whilst most cities in Spain have a Plaza Espana, Sevilla's truly stands out as being one of the most beautiful. In fact the Plaza is so stunning it was used in the star wars films. Our hotel is right in the old town, allowing you to see this stunning city in your own time. Sevilla was home of the 1992 world expo and has a perfect mix between the old and the new. There is only one night here before we step onto Africa.

Sevilla to Tangier (Morocco)
For anyone that hasn't yet been to Africa then today is going to be special. As we drive along the southern coast of Spain we maybe able to see Africa in the distance. It's only a short journey over on our super-fast ferry. Our accommodation here is right on the beach, giving you direct access to the Mediterranean Sea for a swim. After a day on the beach its time to head to town and enjoy the markets or dinner.

Tangier to Granada
Architectural beauty is just one way to describe Granada. Set high in the Sierra Nevada, Granada is home of the last Moorish strong hold in Europe. An army of 150,000 troops held a siege for 7 months in 1491, until the keys for the city were finally handed over. Now we have the chance to visit the stunning palace of Alhambra, a UNESCO world heritage site.

The speed at which Valencia is transforming itself into a vibrant cosmopolitan city is nothing short of lighting. The new opera house is drawing people from all over the world with its stunning design. Whilst the city organisers are busy with hosting events such as the 2007 Americas Cup. If it's a party your after then Valencia has that to, boasting some of the best night life to be found anywhere in Europe. Our accommodation tonight is on the town square, so this is your chance, if you don't know anything about Valencia then you soon will!"!

Valencia to Barcelona
It would be pretty hard not to be excited about Barcelona, as it has life vibrating throughout. However there is really only one place to be seen, and that's on Les Ramblas. If you're into art, then the Gaudi's Sagrada Familia or Park Guell are a must. There will be plenty of time for shopping, eating or enjoying the sun. But be sure to save some energy, as our hostel and Barcelona come to life when the sun goes down.
